How far along: 9 weeks and 5 days.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: at my prenatal appointment I had gained 1.8 pounds.
Maternity clothes: I’m stuck in my ‘fat’ jeans from bloat. I’ve always been a bigger girl but I feel massive. The pregnancy bloat and gas is real! I bought some non maternity summer dresses with room to grow for our myrtle beach vacation. 🙂
Stretch marks: I have some already but none are the fault of Sea Monkey.
Sleep: like a rock. Omggg. We purchased a new bedroom set and mattress from Ashley Furniture and it arrived past week. The mattress is soooo comfortable and once you’re in, you never want to leave. It’s a “hybrid” with gel and springs, but in my opinion feels more comfortable than a tempur pedic. So sleep is awesome, but the exhaustion has me also napping every day!
Best moment last week: several things! 1. The first prenatal appointment and ultrasound were awesome! I was off by three days for Sea Monkey’s due date. 2. My pinning ceremony was today ( pinning is the graduation for our nursing class) 3. My BellaBeat fetal heart rate Doppler arrived. We can’t find it yet, but the product is designed for after the 12th week.
Movement: Not for awhile.
Food cravings: Food every 2-3 hours. Anything edible. Haha I am avoiding friend chicken. Ewww.
Gender: can’t wait to find out the week of my birthday in June.
Labor signs: No labor signs, but I did have some more fun pregnancy signs and symptoms: bloat, gas, and emotional instability (I cry at everything). Still some mild cramping. No real nausea. It’s very mild in the mornings, but that’s about it. (These are about hype same, except the nausea is picking up steam, but still not bad.)
Belly button: Not looking forward to this one– totally in.
What I miss: sweet tea. Iced coffee. Caffeine. Haha. I also wanted to celebrate with some wine today, but caffeine free strawberry pop was my celebratory bubbly. 🙂
What I am looking forward to: myrtle beach vacation! C and I check in on Sunday.
Milestone: 1. Sea Monkey is a fetus. 2. I graduated college.
What’s happening with baby: Sea Monkey is the size of a green olive and is nearing an inch long and is starting to look more ‘baby-like’.
